GENERIC DESCRIPTION:

Through monitoring of usual daily activity, the system could alert the assisted person or their formal or informal caregiver of abnormal activity, intended as any deviation from usual pattern.

EXAMPLES OF SERVICE:

Home sensors monitor eating and drinking habits, alerts if assisted person with dementia hasn't eaten Wearable monitors walking speed, alerts if decrease over time as falls risk Lack of activity on home sensors after a certain time in the morning alerts caregiver to check on assisted person.
